The tangerine tree was brought to us from Indochina in 1828 and has been thriving in the western Mediterranean ever since. Devoid of any bitterness, it stretches along the Straits of Messina and shapes the Calabrian landscape. The gentle scent of the tangerine reminds us of ancient kingdoms, in which their essential oil was used for elegant fragrance compositions.
